Resonantia is a new audiovisual collaboration between András Hargitai (Banyek/Soutien Gorge) and Dávid Mórász (micro.D). Apart from various soundscapes, the project’s raw material consist of Gregorian chants from the world-famous Hungarian choir Schola Hungarica: while the chants go through delay/echo processes, looping and mixing in the first place, the sound is strongly connected to the carefully pre-arranged abstracted visual sceneries. The project intends to represent the digital dub inside our cultural heritage, and also to be considered as an experience of sensory delight.
